Architecture

We recently achieved savings of over $1M (50%) in a systems migration project based largely on our architecture driven approach. Software Engineering

Software Process Coaching

Experience has shown that on-going mentoring or coaching is the most effective way to achieve process improvement in an organization. Our methodology, based on the principles of Earned Value, Constant Iteration, Risk Management and Product Line Practice is tuned to the client’s unique situation. Re-education is provided to establish a clear understanding and buy-in from involved parties. The training is followed by in-the-field coaching to apply the process in practice, resolve issues and build confidence. Our process ensures visibility of cost and schedule performance, regular releases, and integrated design and quality processes.

Re-factoring and Re-engineering

Lengthy or unpredictable release schedules, quality crises, and overwhelming maintenance overhead can often be traced to architectural complexity and legacy code. A well thought out re-factoring and re-engineering strategy is essential to getting out from under this problem. Intellectual Property Management

Due Diligence

We can assist in the due diligence process from either side of the table. For buyers, We will evaluate the technology organization from the perspective of people, product, process and technology. For sellers, we will provide guidance for packaging the technology organization, and preparing for the due diligence process. We will also provide representation.

Licensing and Spin-off

We will assist you in the process of selection, licensing and integration of 3^rd party content and intellectual property into your own products as well as in the licensing or assignment of spin-off technologies to interested buyers or strategic partners.
